Mind training is the practical literature of the inner science: instructions short enough to memorise and plain enough to use. Langri Thangpa’s Eight Verses and Geshe Chekawa’s Seven Points, both from the Kadampa teachers of the eleventh and twelfth centuries, are the best known. They are read here as a tradition’s account of how to live with other people, with sources named.
